Brookstone is pleased to announce its recent hire of Michelle Dougherty, CCM who has joined the team as the new General Manager.
Michelle is a management expert, with 17 years in private club industry. She spent six years as the Assistant General Manager for The Quechee Club in Vermont where she effectively recruited, hired, trained and coached staff and management, worked with the controller and general manager to develop capital and operating budgets, effectively communicated and executed the Club’s vision, and oversaw productivity in all of her departments and work to resolve issues. Prior to The Quechee Club, Michelle spent ten years at Nashua Country Club as a Clubhouse Manager. In this position, Michelle was responsible for sales, planning, distribution and execution of all member and non-member events, golf tournaments, bonspiels, conferences and auctions, as well as developing, managing and maintaining all departmental operating and capital budgets.
Brookstone recently selected Troon, the world’s largest golf management company who also specializes in private residence clubs, estate management and associated hospitality venues, to oversee the business.
